MOSCOW, Jun 22 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom may build underground gas storage facilities and gas-fired power plants in China, business daily Vedomosti reported Wednesday citing a representative of China’s CNPC.
Gazprom and CNPC may sign a relevant memorandum of cooperation during President Vladimir Putin’s visit to China on Saturday. The parameters have not been defined yet, the daily said.
A representative of Gazprom declined to comment.
